Moving beyond theory, we’ll present a practical case featuring FD.io VPP, a standout example of a high-performance network function, and demonstrate how GCP and the Titanium architecture provide the infrastructure needed to build and deploy efficient, scalable, and robust Telco solutions-pushing the boundaries beyond 100 Mpps on commodity shared infrastructure.

Mohammed is a technical leader of sofware engineering at Cisco. His focus is on software architecture for high-performance packet processing. He holds a PhD in Computer Science and Networking from Ecole polytechnique, Paris and is currently busy developing high-performance packet processing functions based on VPP for cloud security applications. He’s also a committer for the VPP project.
